
Partha Ghosh has joined the JSW Group as Executive Vice President & Group Head of Communications, taking charge of group-wide corporate communications, media relations and brand reputation.
Ghosh announced his appointment on LinkedIn, sharing that he and his family are relocating to Mumbai to take on the group-level mandate. In his new role, he will oversee communications strategy across JSW’s diverse businesses, which span steel, energy, infrastructure, cement, automotive, paints, sports and community initiatives.
Ghosh moves to JSW Group after spending more than three years at Air India. He served as the airline’s Global Head of Communications from May 2023 to September 2026 and most recently acted as Advisor to the CEO, steering reputation mandates during its post-privatisation transformation.
Prior to Air India, Ghosh spent nearly nine years at Samsung Electronics. His tenure included serving as Vice President & Head of Corporate Communications for India and Southwest Asia, along with leading Corporate Citizenship and CSR initiatives.
Ghosh began his professional career in mainstream business journalism, spending over seven years at The Economic Times in various senior editorial positions. His work included serving as Resident Editor in Ahmedabad, Editor for Emerging Businesses and Private Equity, and National Editor across media, real estate and luxury beats. He also worked with Business Standard, The Hindu Business Line and The Telegraph earlier in his career.
His appointment comes as the multi-billion-dollar JSW conglomerate continues to expand its manufacturing and consumer-facing verticals across India and global markets.
