
Technical athletic apparel major lululemon has appointed Vineet Mehta as Vice President – India Technology Hub, placing an industry veteran at the helm of its technology, data and global delivery operations.
Based in Bengaluru, Mehta will oversee the expansion of lululemon’s India Technology Hub, leading engineering teams across artificial intelligence, enterprise data platforms, cloud infrastructure and digital product engineering. In his new role, he will focus on scaling technological capabilities to support lululemon’s global omnichannel growth strategy.
Mehta brings over 26 years of experience across enterprise technology, product development, data analytics and Global Capability Center (GCC) leadership. Prior to joining lululemon, he served as Executive – Software Engineering & IT (Product & Technology) at Australian telecommunications major Telstra.
His leadership background also includes serving as General Manager of Technology and India GCC Site Leader at Kmart Australia Limited, where he established and scaled the Anko technology centre in Bengaluru. During his tenure at Kmart Group, he also held the position of Global Head – Data & Analytics, managing cloud transformations, enterprise data platforms and robotic process automation.
Earlier in his career, Mehta held senior technology leadership roles at L Brands, Target, Thomson Reuters, Deutsche Bank and Citi.
Mehta’s appointment reinforces lululemon’s commitment to strengthening its India Technology Hub as a strategic engine for digital transformation, global supply chain optimization and guest experience innovation.
