
India’s homegrown entertainment production company Maddock Films recently officially appointed veteran marketing professional Siddhant Shetty as Chief Marketing Campaigns Manager. Shetty, who is based in Mumbai, has over six years of marketing experience in the music, media and entertainment sectors, and is a trained professional singer and musician.
He has led operations for multiple hit projects including Dhurandhar, Stree 2, Tauba Tauba, Aaj Ki Raat, and Paani Paani. His core capabilities cover the full end-to-end chain of digital strategy formulation, brand visibility building, social media execution, content marketing, and brand growth. The studio, which is best known for its expertise in horror comedy, holds a set of core intellectual properties (IPs) including Stree, Bhediya, Rajma Chawal, and Kalki 2898 AD co-developed with Cosmic Films. It is currently expanding its marketing capabilities to support its slate of titles set for both theatrical and streaming releases. Shetty will be responsible for designing and executing full-category marketing campaigns for all film and television music content.
He will leverage data, social trends and digital media to boost brand awareness and box office performance, an approach that aligns with the current mainstream “digital-first, music-driven” marketing trend in India’s film and television industry. This setup will allow the company to accurately reach young audiences and build sufficient pre-release hype.
