SBI Mutual Fund has appointed Pooja Menon Vaidya as Assistant Vice President – Digital Marketing, strengthening its digital outreach and communications function. The appointment brings an experienced financial services marketing professional into one of India’s largest and most trusted asset management companies.
Vaidya brings over 15 years of experience in digital marketing, with a career that spans some of the most recognized names in the BFSI sector. Before joining SBI Mutual Fund, she served as Associate Vice President – Digital Marketing at IIFL Securities, where she was responsible for driving the brand’s digital strategy and performance marketing initiatives. Prior to that, she held a similar AVP role at Kotak Life, building her expertise in financial product communication and audience engagement.
In her new role at SBI Mutual Fund, Vaidya is expected to strengthen the brand’s digital presence, sharpen its performance marketing approach and help the fund house connect more effectively with investors across digital channels. She is also a Six Sigma Green Belt certified professional and a digital marketing coach, which adds a structured, results-driven dimension to her leadership profile.
Her appointment also reflects the growing importance of digital marketing within the mutual fund industry. As more investors research, compare and transact through online platforms, digital communication has moved from a supplementary function to a core business capability. Fund houses are now competing on digital visibility, content quality and audience trust as much as they are on returns and schemes.
Vaidya’s move to SBI Mutual Fund signals that the organization is investing in senior marketing talent to support its next phase of digital engagement. With her track record across BFSI digital roles, she is well placed to drive meaningful impact as the brand continues to grow its investor base.
