Deepak Deshmukh has joined Polycab India Limited as President – B2B Channel, marking his transition from the Aditya Birla Group after a 12-year tenure across multiple group companies.
Deshmukh’s move to Polycab follows over a decade of experience within the Aditya Birla Group, where he held senior leadership roles across Grasim Chemicals, Novelis, and Hindalco Industries. His career spanned advanced aluminium products, B2B sales, supply chain operations, and manufacturing leadership across both Indian and European markets.
During his tenure at the Aditya Birla Group, Deshmukh worked closely with senior leadership including Satish Pai and Emilio Braghi, contributing to strategic initiatives in sales, S&OP (Sales and Operations Planning), and manufacturing operations. His experience took him across India and Europe, building expertise in international business development, cross-functional team leadership, and operational excellence in heavy industrial sectors.
The President – B2B Channel role will likely encompass oversight of Polycab’s institutional sales, project business, distributor networks, and strategic partnerships across industrial, commercial, and infrastructure segments areas where Deshmukh’s Aditya Birla Group experience in heavy industry and B2B markets positions him to drive sustained growth.
