
Niyati Desai has joined SocioClout, an integrated marketing agency, as Associate Vice President – Growth. In her new role, she will lead the agency’s Mumbai business, strengthening its presence and client relationships in one of India’s most competitive advertising markets.
Desai brings a diverse background spanning content, strategy and account leadership across some of the industry’s leading media and creative networks. Prior to joining SocioClout, she was Associate Vice President – Influencer Marketing at dentsu, where she led the agency’s influencer marketing practice nationally, driving strategic initiatives to strengthen brand visibility for clients across categories.
Before dentsu, Desai served as Group Account Director at Hogarth and spent close to seven years at Wavemaker, first as Group Head and later as Director – Content. During her time there, she worked extensively on content strategy, brand storytelling and integrated campaign execution. Her earlier career includes roles at Maxus Global, where she rose from Manager to Group Head – Content, giving her a strong foundation in media planning and content-led brand communication.
Desai’s professional journey also includes production-oriented roles, having worked as an Associate Producer and Assistant Director on entertainment projects with Optimystix Entertainment and O4 Digital Media, alongside a stint at Sony Music Entertainment. This mix of production, content and strategic marketing experience gives her a well-rounded understanding of how storytelling translates into brand impact across platforms.l
At SocioClout, an agency known for influencer marketing, campaign management, social media strategy and content-led brand building, Desai’s mandate is expected to focus on business growth, client servicing and strengthening the agency’s footprint in Mumbai.
