Jigar Rathod has joined Sheela Foam as Vice President – Media, moving from adidas after nearly four years with the global sportswear brand. In his new role, Rathod will lead media initiatives for Sleepwell and other brands within Sheela Foam’s portfolio.
Rathod was associated with adidas India from November 2022 to July 2026, serving as Digital Media Manager. During his tenure, he managed end-to-end media strategy, planning, execution and analytics across the company’s Cricket, Originals and Sports businesses. His responsibilities covered digital, television, out-of-home, print and radio, giving him experience across a broad and integrated media ecosystem.
Before joining adidas, Rathod worked as Campaign Performance Manager at Philips India, where he handled digital media strategy and planning for the personal health portfolio. His earlier career includes roles at Pernod Ricard, Ogilvy & Mather, Parentune.com, LINE Messenger, Percept Knorigin and AdGlobal360. Across these assignments, he gained experience in digital marketing, campaign management, social media, client servicing, performance marketing and user engagement.
Rathod’s move brings together his background in media, data and creativity with Sheela Foam’s focus on comfort, recovery and sleep. He has described the transition as a shift from a brand centred on movement and performance to a business built around rest, recovery and recharge.
At Sheela Foam, his mandate is expected to involve strengthening brand visibility, improving media effectiveness and developing integrated campaigns for Sleepwell and the company’s wider brand portfolio. The role will require a close connection between consumer insights, media planning, creative thinking and measurable business outcomes.
Rathod’s appointment comes as home and sleep-care brands compete for greater share of consumers’ attention across digital platforms, television and emerging media channels. His experience managing large, multi-channel mandates at adidas is likely to support Sheela Foam as it builds sharper and more connected brand communication.
