 
        Imagine Marketing appoints Gaurav Nayyar as CEO, strengthening leadership as boAt prepares for public market debut and next growth phase.
Imagine Marketing, the parent company of boAt, has appointed Gaurav Nayyar as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO); this reflects a considerable change at the top of the company, just before its planned initial public offering (IPO). Nayyar has been boAt’s Chief Operating Officer (COO) for three years, and has more than twenty years of experience in the market and operations, with eight years as a partner at Bain & Company.
Nayyar’s promotion reflects the professionalism the company is trying to achieve in its management and the bolstering of its leadership in anticipation of the next stage of growth. Sameer Mehta, co-founder and former CEO, will move into the Executive Director role and take on active long-term planning, as well as strategic support to Nayyar. Co-founder Aman Gupta will remain as a Non-Executive Director, holding on to his role over the brand vision and marketing strategy as he is in charge of the branding and marketing for the company.
Imagine Marketing is planning to build and expand its market leadership and offerings in the ever-changing consumer technology space under Nayyar’s leadership. The company, that has boAt, a well-known audio and wearable technology brand, is expecting to take advantage of the growing consumer electronics market in and outside of India.
