
Deepali Saini, CEO of Think Design, appointed Global Chief Experience Design Officer of Havas CX, leading experience design globally from Bengaluru.
Think Design’s Deepali Saini has been appointed the new Global Chief Experience Design Officer at Havas CX. With this new appointment, she will now join the Global CX Leadership Board and will be responsible for the XD practice’s global development while ensuring design quality, capability development, and business success, in addition to sustainable expansion in cross-sell and up-sell opportunities.
Saini will continue to report to both CX Havas Global CEO David Shulman, and Havas Group SEA and North Asia CEO Rana Barua. Part of her remits include the unification and elevation of the XD practice for the network — bringing teams together, scaling offerings, establishing shared systems, championing design-centric advocacy for business ethics, sustainable AI, and design agnostic integration for client work. Also, she will be bolstering the XD practice in SEA with Singapore as a regional hub.
Rana Barua commended Saini for her visionary leadership, noting that she developed an audacious business model and increased Think Design’s presence in Singapore. He noted that her comprehensive understanding of user behavior and her capacity to drive creative and commercial growth enables her to unlock the next chapter of success for Havas CX. David Shulman similarly praised her, remarking on her unique ability to integrate design thinking with business strategies to deliver value to clients.
Saini articulated her ambition to design an integrated XD practice as a “single, cohesive, global XD practice” that not only builds on strengths but also pushes boundaries and shapes new possibilities for clients and teams. Her appointment highlights Havas’s dedication to exceptional experience design and marks the impact of Indian professionals on the global sphere.
