Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) has unveiled a corporate brand film to commemorate its 30-year operational milestone in India, celebrating its long-standing connection with the nation’s socioeconomic growth and evolving consumer aspirations.
Anchored by the central theme of Trust, Pride, and Progress, the film traces Hyundai’s three-decade evolution alongside modern India. The visual narrative reflects on the automaker’s landmark models that shaped Indian roads, from the revolutionary SANTRO hatchback in 1998 and early sedans like Accent and Verna, to contemporary bestsellers including the Creta, Venue, and the all-electric IONIQ 5. The film connects nostalgic milestones with next-generation smart mobility, connected technology, and sustainable electrification roadmaps.
Since establishing its Indian manufacturing operations on May 6, 1996, Hyundai has invested over Rs 40,700 crore in the country, delivering more than 13.5 million vehicles to domestic and international export markets. To support future expansion, the automaker has outlined an additional investment of Rs 45,000 crore between FY26 and FY30 to scale electric vehicle infrastructure, local supply chains, and introduce 26 new models by 2030.
The anniversary film also nods to Hyundai’s enduring cultural footprint and its 28-year brand ambassadorship with Bollywood icon Shah Rukh Khan.
The commemorative corporate film has launched across digital channels, national television networks, and social media platforms, supported by interactive customer engagement initiatives across Hyundai’s nationwide dealership network.
