DailyObjects has appointed Zeenah Vilcassim as its Global Chief Marketing Officer to lead the brand’s international marketing strategy and support its next phase of global growth.
Vilcassim brings more than 17 years of experience across the US, Europe, the Middle East, China and India. Her career covers brand building, consumer marketing, digital businesses and international expansion. She joins DailyObjects from Nothing India, where she led marketing for the technology brand.
Before Nothing, Vilcassim served as CEO of Zomato Live, now known as District by Zomato. She built the business from the ground up and worked on creating a new consumer proposition in the experience and entertainment space.
She also held senior positions at Bacardi. As Chief Marketing Officer of Bacardi India, she led consumer and customer marketing across the company’s portfolio. Earlier, as Global Brand Director for Whiskies, she worked on brand strategy across international markets.
Vilcassim began her career as an economist and management consultant at Ernst & Young before moving into brand and consumer marketing. She holds a master’s degree in econometrics and quantitative economics from the University of Edinburgh. She has also been recognised among IMPACT’s 40 Under 40 CMOs in India and The Drum’s Future 50 marketing leaders.
Pankaj Garg, Co-Founder and CEO, DailyObjects, said, “DailyObjects is entering its next chapter. We want to build a brand that means something to people, wherever they are. Zeenah understands consumer behaviour well and has built brands at global companies, at fast-growing businesses and from scratch. She shares our ambition, and I’m excited to build the next phase of DailyObjects with her.”
Zeenah Vilcassim, Global Chief Marketing Officer, DailyObjects, said, “DailyObjects has already built the foundations of a truly distinctive lifestyle brand: a strong understanding of contemporary consumers and a clear point of view on how design fits into their daily lives. Pankaj and Saurav’s ambition to take this India-born brand to the world is something DailyObjects is strongly poised to achieve, with both its local relevance and international appeal. I look forward to joining them on the next stage of this journey, making DailyObjects a brand that is meaningful to consumers’ daily lives wherever it goes.”
At DailyObjects, she will oversee global brand strategy as the Indian design-led lifestyle tech company expands beyond its domestic success. Co-founder and CEO Pankaj Garg said the company is entering its next chapter and wants to build a brand that connects with consumers wherever they are.
The appointment strengthens DailyObjects’ leadership as it focuses on consumer insights, brand positioning, digital commerce and international market development.
