Bhuvan Bam has entered the fragrance business with the launch of Sarkar, a premium Indian perfume brand developed over nearly three years. The new venture positions itself between mass-market fragrances and high-end luxury labels, with a focus on craftsmanship, distinct identity, and long-term brand building.
The debut collection includes four unisex perfumes: Orion, Noble, Throne, and Regal. Each fragrance is designed to suit different personalities and occasions, giving the brand a broad appeal while keeping the positioning premium and accessible. The perfumes are priced in the Rs. 1,000 to Rs. 2,000 range, making them attractive to consumers looking for parfum-strength fragrances without entering luxury price territory.
According to the brand’s founders, Sarkar has been built with an emphasis on formulation quality and consistency. The fragrances carry a 25% oil concentration and are IFRA-compliant, which adds to the product’s premium positioning. Orion, Noble, and Throne have been formulated in France, while Regal has been developed in Spain.
“Sarkar was never about creating a fragrance brand for a moment. It was about building a brand with a distinct identity and a long-term vision. Fragrance has always been a powerful form of expression, and we wanted to create something that people connect with because of what it represents. Every decision, from the brand identity to the fragrances themselves, has been shaped by patience, intention and attention to detail,” said Bhuvan Bam, Actor & Creator, Co-Founder, Sarkar.
Neel Gogia, Co-Founder of IPLIX Media, Layers and Sarkar, said “For years, the fragrance market has largely been defined by two ends of the spectrum products built for scale and products built for exclusivity. We felt there was room for a fragrance house that could bridge that gap without compromising on quality, formulation or experience. Sarkar has been built with a long-term vision, where the product leads every decision. Our ambition isn’t simply to launch a brand, but to build one that earns lasting consumer trust through consistency, craftsmanship and thoughtful innovation.”
Sarkar is now available through its official website as well as on major e-commerce platforms. For Bhuvan Bam, the launch marks another step beyond entertainment and digital content into lifestyle entrepreneurship, with a brand that aims to grow on product strength rather than star power alone.
