Dipika Kapoor has rejoined Network18 Media & Investments Limited as National Digital Strategy, IPs Head for its Indian Language Cluster, marking her second stint with the media company. The appointment comes as Network18 continues to push deeper into regional markets, build creator-led ventures such as Creator18, and expand its digital revenue streams beyond traditional news advertising.
Kapoor previously worked with Network18 from 2018 to 2025, holding various roles across her tenure that spanned digital media strategy, performance marketing, reader revenue, marketing analytics, campaign management, account management and new product launches. In her new role, she will be responsible for shaping digital strategy and intellectual property (IP) development for Network18’s Indian language brands, working at the intersection of content, technology and communities to create differentiated products and monetisation models.
Before returning to Network18, Kapoor was with India Today, where she served as General Manager, Marketing, overseeing brand and growth initiatives for the group’s digital and print properties. Her earlier career includes stints at LocoVida and Amar Ujala Publications, giving her a mix of publisher-side, performance and product-led marketing experience across Hindi and English media ecosystems.
Announcing her return on LinkedIn, Kapoor said she is looking forward to building new products, creating innovative digital IPs and exploring opportunities at the intersection of content, technology and communities. This orientation aligns with Network18’s broader strategic push, outlined in its latest annual report, to strengthen its news leadership while expanding into premium products, digital platforms, creator engagement, regional expansion and adjacent categories.
The hiring signals Network18’s intent to professionalise and centralise digital strategy and IP creation for its Indian language cluster, as it competes with both national news networks and fast-growing digital-native players in Hindi and other regional languages.
