Shivani Goel has joined Reliance Brands as Vice President – Marketing, taking charge of marketing for a portfolio of international luxury brands in India. Her mandate includes Hugo Boss, Paul & Shark, Zegna and Tumi.
In her new role, Goel will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies for the four brands across the Indian market. Her work is expected to cover brand positioning, consumer engagement, retail marketing, digital communication and integrated campaigns designed to strengthen the brands’ presence among India’s premium and luxury consumers.
The appointment comes as India’s luxury market continues to attract global brands looking to expand their retail footprint and connect with a growing base of affluent and aspirational customers. In this environment, marketing leaders must balance global brand guidelines with local cultural understanding, market-specific insights and changing consumer expectations.
Goel’s role will require close coordination across multiple touchpoints, including stores, e-commerce platforms, social media, public relations, events and customer experiences. Each brand in her portfolio has a distinct identity and audience, making portfolio-level marketing a complex responsibility that calls for both strategic consistency and brand-specific storytelling.
Hugo Boss is known for its contemporary fashion and lifestyle offering, while Zegna operates in the premium menswear segment. Paul & Shark is associated with luxury casualwear and nautical-inspired design, and Tumi focuses on premium travel, business and lifestyle accessories. Together, the brands give Reliance Brands a strong presence across fashion, apparel and travel categories.
Goel’s appointment strengthens Reliance Brands’ marketing leadership as the company continues to build and manage partnerships with international luxury labels in India. Her mandate is likely to focus on creating stronger consumer connections, improving brand visibility and supporting the growth of each label through a combination of premium experiences and locally relevant communication.
With India becoming an increasingly important market for global luxury players, Goel’s leadership will play a key role in shaping how these brands engage with Indian consumers across both physical and digital channels.
