Schneider Electric has elevated Ratnesh Pandey to Vice President of Marketing for India, giving him a broader mandate across the company’s marketing and growth agenda. In his new role, Pandey will lead strategy across brand building, digital marketing, customer experience, communications, and commercial excellence.
Pandey has been associated with Schneider Electric since 2018 and most recently served as Director and Head of Marketing and Communications for Lauritz Knudsen, the brand formerly known as L&T Switchgear. He played a key role in managing the brand transition and building its presence across India and international markets.
During his tenure, Pandey led marketing for Lauritz Knudsen across India, the Middle East, and other markets. His responsibilities included developing the brand’s value proposition, supporting the launch of technology and energy-management solutions, and creating communication programmes for customers, partners, employees, and industry stakeholders.
He also led Green Yodha, Schneider Electric India’s flagship sustainability programme, which focuses on creating awareness around energy efficiency, climate action, and responsible consumption. In addition, Pandey worked on strategic marketing projects covering software, building automation, energy management, and digital solutions.
Pandey’s earlier roles at Schneider Electric included Senior General Manager – Marketing for L&T Electrical and Automation, General Manager – Marketing for the Home Business and Sustainability Software Suite, and leadership positions across channels, segments, building automation, and software marketing.
Before joining Schneider Electric, he worked as Brand Manager at HCL Infosystems and Manager at Digitas India, where he handled marketing communications and digital campaigns for major clients. His experience spans brand strategy, digital transformation, sustainability communication, integrated marketing, and technology-led business development.
The appointment comes as Schneider Electric expands its focus on electrification, automation, energy management, software, and sustainability solutions in India. Pandey’s new mandate is expected to help connect these offerings with evolving customer needs while strengthening the company’s brand and commercial impact.
His elevation reflects the growing importance of marketing in industrial technology businesses, where brands must communicate complex solutions in a clear, relevant, and customer-focused manner.
