Ranabir Bose has rejoined Aditya Birla Capital as Head – Marketing (NBFC) and Brand Centre of Excellence, returning to the financial services group in a dual leadership role. He will oversee marketing across the company’s lending portfolio while also serving as the brand custodian for Aditya Birla Capital at the group level.
In his expanded mandate, Bose will be responsible for strengthening the marketing strategy of the NBFC business and ensuring that the brand remains consistent across its different lines of business. His role will include developing brand narratives, supporting business growth, and improving the overall resonance of Aditya Birla Capital’s unified identity.
Bose announced his return through a LinkedIn post, describing the move as a transition back to Aditya Birla Capital. He said he would lead marketing across the NBFC’s full lending portfolio and steward the group’s franchise at an enterprise level. He also expressed his intention to build impactful narratives, drive growth, and strengthen the company’s unified brand presence.
The appointment marks Bose’s second stint with Aditya Birla Capital. Between April 2017 and September 2024, he led marketing for the company’s NBFC business, including integrated marketing initiatives for Aditya Birla Finance. His responsibilities during that period covered customer acquisition and retention, brand positioning, go-to-market planning, and digital engagement.
Before returning to the group, Bose served as Head of Marketing at Aditya Birla Sun Life Mutual Fund. He held that position from October 2024 until June 2026, leading marketing activities for the asset management business.
Bose’s return comes as financial services brands place greater emphasis on integrated communication, digital customer journeys, and consistent brand experiences across products. His experience across lending, wealth management, mutual funds, brand communication, and media strategy is expected to support Aditya Birla Capital’s efforts to create stronger connections with customers and reinforce its position across the financial services market.
