Jio BP names Sidheshwar Sharma as CMO to drive EV charging, sustainable fuels, and loyalty campaigns across 1,500+ stations targeting India’s green mobility growth.
Jio BP, the joint venture between Reliance Industries and BP, has appointed marketing veteran Sidheshwar Sharma as Chief Marketing Officer (CMO), effective immediately. With over 20 years in consumer goods, retail, and energy sectors, Sharma joins from a leading FMCG firm where he drove brand transformations and digital customer strategies.
Sharma’s role centers on elevating Jio BP’s network of 1,500+ fuel stations, emphasizing sustainable fuels, EV charging infrastructure, and loyalty programs amid India’s green mobility boom. His expertise will fuel campaigns promoting servo-grade petrol, CNG, and the expanding Jio BP Pulse EV network targeting 10,000 fast chargers by 2027.

This hire aligns with Jio BP’s aggressive expansion, recent app upgrades for seamless payments, and partnerships for biofuels.
