
Mayoori Kango, former Bollywood actress and ex-Google executive, rejoins Publicis Groupe as CEO of Publicis Global Delivery, leading AI and media strategy.
Publicis Groupe welcomed back Mayoori Kango as Chef Executive Officer of the Global Delivery Operations which she commenced in August 2025. As the head of PGD India Delivery Center, she will spearhead the shaping of the company’s global strategy in the areas of media, data, technology and AI.
Mayoori Kango’s excitement about leveraging AI to transform the marketing and media landscape was evident in her expression of ‘untapped potential’ while redefining marketing and media. Announcing her new role on LinkedIn, she expressed eagerness toward collaborating with the rest of the PGD team to expand on their media, technology and digital offerings while focusing on AI.
Kango’s career trajectory is exceptional and motivational. She began her professional life as a Bollywood actress, starred in a number of TV shows, and is most well-known for her role in Papa Kehte Hain (1996). She then shifted to the corporate world, obtaining an MBA in Marketing and Finance from Baruch College, New York. She held senior positions at Google India, where she lead AI, Martech and media solutions, and later at Publicis Groupe’s Performics and Zenith, subsidiaries of Publicis.
Her coming back to Publicis Groupe marks a remarkable mark of leadership strategy, with an intent to drive innovation, scale operations, and have an impact for clients on a global scale. Mayoori’s mix of creative and corporate experience equips her well to steer Publicis Global Delivery to navigate the fast changing marketing and media landscape.
