Dairy Day Ice Creams has elevated Arvind Ramachandran to Chief Marketing Officer. He moves up from his earlier role as Vice President – Marketing, taking charge of the brand’s overall marketing, consumer strategy and growth agenda.
Ramachandran has been a key part of Dairy Day’s marketing leadership. He has helped shape the brand’s positioning around everyday joy, goodness and emotional connection, while expanding its presence across retail, quick commerce and digital platforms.
During his tenure, Dairy Day launched campaigns focused on gratitude and consumer connection. The brand’s 2026 summer campaign, built around saying “thank you,” aimed to create emotional bonds through small acts of love and appreciation.
He also led the launch of Ob & Gob, Dairy Day’s quick-commerce-first ice cream brand. The offering was designed for at-home sundae indulgence, with a can format created to work well for storage, delivery and digital discovery.
Ramachandran has also supported Dairy Day’s move into micro-drama storytelling. The brand used short, relatable narratives to reach consumers whose attention is increasingly fragmented across digital platforms.
Before Dairy Day, Ramachandran built experience across sales and marketing in home care, personal care and a direct-to-consumer startup. This background has shaped his understanding of India’s changing FMCG and ice cream markets.
As Chief Marketing Officer, Ramachandran is expected to strengthen Dairy Day’s brand-building, innovation pipeline and consumer engagement. His promotion signals the company’s focus on scaling beyond seasonal demand and making ice cream an everyday indulgence across formats, occasions and geographies.
