Mercedes-Benz India has joined the Indian Padel Tour as title partner for the 2026–27 season, marking a premium sports association that connects luxury mobility with one of India’s fastest-growing racket sports. The tour will now be known as the Mercedes-Benz Indian Padel Tour, underscoring the brand’s push beyond automobiles into lifestyle-led experiences.
The partnership arrives at a time when padel is rapidly gaining traction in major Indian cities, especially among younger urban consumers and affluent sport enthusiasts. With its social format, short learning curve, and premium club culture, the sport has become a natural fit for brands looking to engage high-value audiences in a more experiential setting. Mercedes-Benz India’s association reflects that growing overlap between sport, aspiration, and modern leisure.
The 2026–27 season will feature 19 tournaments across 10 cities, beginning in Mumbai in August 2026 and concluding in Bengaluru in June 2027. That wide footprint gives the brand visibility across key urban markets while also helping the tour build scale, structure, and stronger fan engagement.
For Mercedes-Benz India, the move is about more than sponsorship. It signals a broader commitment to performance, innovation, and elevated customer experiences beyond the road. The timing also aligns with the launch of the Mercedes-AMG E 53 HYBRID 4MATIC+, adding another layer of performance-led storytelling to the partnership.
Padel’s growth in India has been driven by private courts, club culture, and repeat participation, making it attractive for premium lifestyle brands. By associating with the sport at this stage, Mercedes-Benz India is positioning itself early in a category that still has significant room to expand.
The partnership strengthens both the brand and the tour, combining luxury positioning with a sport that is increasingly becoming part of India’s urban leisure identity.
